Part-Time Retail Sales Assistant Position - Chopova Lowena Clubhouse 

(31 paid hrs: Thu, Fri, Sat 10:30–7:30, Sun 11:30–5:30)

The Chopova Lowena Clubhouse opened this September in East London as the brand’s first physical retail shop, which sits at the heart of the brand's growing D2C retail strategy. We are currently looking for an experienced and highly organised Retail Assistant to join the team to oversee retail store sales, operations and logistics.  

The Retail Assistant will act as the primary key holder to the store and play a crucial role in daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring store security, driving sales performance, maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. Serving as a passionate brand ambassador that is enthusiastic about the products, the craftsmanship and creative world building of Chopova Lowena, the Sales Assistant will ensure the brand’s distinctive ethos is carried through into the retail environment and Clubhouse Events. 

The Chopova Lowena Clubhouse is open 4 days a week, through Thursday - Saturday 11-7pm, and Sunday 12-5pm. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive sales in-store and support with retail sales initiatives to meet sales targets, by upselling products, promoting the Clubhouse Merchandise, cross-selling related products through styling suggestions and outfit building, to grow order volumes and in-store conversion. 

  • Track daily sales performance, number of transactions, order volumes- feedback a daily sales report to wider management.  

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting customers on arrival, assisting with finding products and correct sizing. 

  • Deliver a personal shopping experience and take private appointments for custom orders at the customisable Carabiner skirt bar. 

  • Lead daily store opening and closing procedures, including alarm system management, POS register set up, and secure locking of the premises. 

  • Monitor floor activity, and track customer count in-store. 

  • Safeguard inventory, and ensure regular stock takes are carried out. 

  • Support the team with stock deliveries, unpacking, logging, tagging and pricing new stock, ensuring product is correctly hung and put away in the stock room. 

  • Maintain a tidy and organized stock room and shop floor at all times. 

  • Proactively replenish stock throughout the day. 

  • Ensure the Clubhouse visual merchandising standards are executed to a high level of attention to detail, including rack styling, folded product neatly on shelves,steaming product where applicable, correct hanger spacing. 

  • Adapt brand stories to the retail setting - be informed on seasonal collection themes and inspiration to inform the customer on seasonal product narratives. 

  • Support the team with packing online shopify customer orders, answering customer email queries and online returns. 

  • Support the team across Clubhouse events, set-up, content shoots and styling.


We are looking for candidates with: 

  • 1-2 years experience in retail sales and customer service, with previous experience working within a luxury fashion retail shop floor setting preferred. 

  • Team player, who is kind, considerate and personable, with a positive and proactive attitude to support a small team. 

  • Excellent communication skills towards customers and team members.  

  • Proactive approach to problem solving  

  • Experience with Shopify and Shopify POS systems
